Showcasing Scotland Regional Events
Taste Inverclyde is delighted to be supporting the Showcasing Scotland regional events programme, which has been developed by Scotland Food and Drink in response to the growing demand for local products in local markets. The programme will help grow local and regional sales by bringing together regional buyers, producers and suppliers for a series of one-day meet the buyer events.
There has never been a better time to source more of Scotland’s magnificent larder and Scotland Food & Drink’s Showcasing Scotland – West event is a must-attend event for food and drink buyers, providing a quick and efficient way to discover new and exciting suppliers right on your doorstep.
Scottish food and drink is one that represents quality and provenance and research shows that 70% of Scots agree. We know that just over half of Scots are prepared to pay more for local produce and that food tourism is big business.
Taking place during Scottish Tourism Month, this one-day event aims to increase the use and availability of authentic and locally produced Scottish food and drink in cafes, restaurants, bars, venues and attractions across Scotland.
For buyers, Showcasing Scotland regional events will make introductions as easy as possible through the successful ‘speed-dating’ style of event, exposing them to the breadth of quality food and drink products each region has to offer.
For suppliers, Showcasing Scotland regional events will provide the opportunity to develop commercial capability through a Supplier Development Programme and give the chance to meet a range of buyers who are actively looking for local products.

West – Hampden Park, Glasgow | 7th March, 2018 |
