iMultiply would like to invite Inverclyde’s Food and Drink Manufacturers to join its community of food and drink leaders and family businesses to debate the complexities and opportunities of scaling-up a food and drink or family business in Scotland.
Thursday 6th September 2018 – 18:00 – 21:00
This is a standout opportunity to engage with a panel of experts: Boyd Tunnock, Managing Director of internationally recognised family business Tunnock’s, Alan Mahon, co-founder of social enterprise brewer Brewgooder and Social Bite coffee shops and Declan Lannon, Scaling Account Manager for Scottish Enterprise.
Discussions are likely to cover when to scale-up, leadership development, attracting investment and talent, diversifying product ranges, growing brand recognition, implementing structural change, relationships with retail buyers, approaching internationalisation and building for the future.
More about the speakers:

Boyd has run the 20th oldest family business in Scotland since the early 1980s. Under his management the business has flourished both locally and internationally, with currently over 540 employees and a recent turnover of £52.6 million (of which 20% is overseas). Boyd has been awarded an MBE for services to export and a CBE for services to charity. He is committed to the future of the family business.
