The former Aulds shop in Port Glasgow town centre has a fresh proposal to become a restaurant under plans submitted to Inverclyde Council.
An application has been made to use the premises at 46 Princes Street as an Indian takeaway and restaurant.
The eatery would have 34 seats and be open from 2pm to 11pm, Monday to Saturday and 4pm to 11pm on Sundays.
The proposal is pending assessment by Inverclyde Council’s planning officials.
