Scottish confectionery brand, Buchanans of Scotland, will join STV’s Hogmanay celebrations as programme sponsors with a multi-platform campaign across broadcast and digital.
STV’s special Hogmanay programming will see legendary Scottish pop icon Lulu welcome in the New Year in Lulu’s Hogmanay Hooley, which promises to bring STV viewers a memorable evening of song and festivity.
The campaign, running in December and into January, will include sponsorship bumpers on STV and the STV Player, competition sponsorship and a digital takeover of the stv.tv homepage. The deal was brokered by media agency, Republic of Media.
Lulu’s Hogmanay Hooley will see Lulu perform some of her biggest hits, joined on stage by her band and some exceptional guests – including fellow singer-songwriting sensation KT Tunstall.
From Lulu’s irrepressible debut Shout! to the more recent Every Single Day and classic Hogmanay favourite, Auld Lang Syne, viewers are treated to a musical extravaganza of much-loved songs from her glittering career.
