Lifting The Lid, a free display telling the story of 400 years of food and drink in Scotland, is coming to Inverclyde Libraries.
The National Library of Scotland exhibition will be at four local venues between August and October. Celebrating Scotland’s changing relationship with food and drink and explores the myths and traditions associated with its people’s diet. It also looks at how the introduction of new ingredients and methods of cooking have changed and developed tastes over the years.
